Jennifer Candis Oxendine and Scott David Goldstein were married on April 24 at the Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, Fla. Michael Garvett officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Gilbert and Michelle Baker Oxendine of Pembroke and the granddaughter of the late Jennie Smith of Laurel Hill and Vivian and the late Hughie Oxendine of Lumberton. She attended Florida International University. She works for The Cleveland Clinic in Weson, Fla.

The groom is the son of Lesli Garvett of Hickory and Frank Goldstein of Las Vegas and the grandson of the late Harry and Ruth Leifer of Massachusetts and the late Sydney and Laurel Goldstein of New York. He attended the University of Florida. He owns and manages Paramount Mortgage Funding Inc. in Delray Beach, Fla.

The maid of honor was Leslie Anne Oxendine and the bridesmaid was Crystal Hunt.

The best man was Peter Goldstein.

Following a trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Boynton Beach, Fla.
